About
Jeremy Heisler is a nationally recognized civil rights and employment attorney with a decades-long record of success in major class action cases. He has secured some of the largest verdicts and settlements in U.S. legal history, including a $250 million jury award in a gender discrimination case and a $99 million wage and hour settlement.
Jeremy began his legal education at Brooklyn College, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree cum laude. He then obtained his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School. While in law school, he was Senior Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and authored a well-regarded article in the Annual Second Circuit Review.
Jeremy’s legal practice includes wage and hour violations, sexual harassment, gender discrimination, civil rights, and consumer fraud. His efforts led to an $11 million resolution for energy consumers, a $28 million settlement for managers denied overtime, and structural improvements at a major New York housing complex through a $10 million agreement.
Jeremy also helped set important legal precedent. In Murphy v. Am. Home Products Corp., he expanded protections for employees bringing workplace discrimination claims. He also argued and won a pivotal Second Circuit appeal that led to a landmark class action victory for pharmaceutical sales representatives.
Jeremy authored legal articles, including guidance on state law protections for workers and class action incentive payments. He is admitted to practice in New York and several federal courts, including the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Jeremy Heisler continues to fight for employee and consumer justice through bold litigation strategies and strong legal writing. His career reflects a deep commitment to fair treatment and accountability under the law.
