Jonah Gavish

Jonah Gavish is an associate in the Las Vegas office of McDonald Carano. He is a member of the Real Estate & Land Use and Business Entities & Transactions Practice Groups. He supports clients with legal research, drafting, and guidance on business and real estate matters.

Jonah earned a J.D., cum laude, from the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2025. He also earned an M.B.A. from the Lee Business School at UNLV in 2025 and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Philosophy from UNLV in 2022.

Jonah’s legal experience includes roles as a law clerk and legal extern. He worked with the Nevada Court of Appeals, assisting with research and drafting. He also supported law firms by reviewing cases, preparing legal documents, and helping with arbitrations, mediations, and court proceedings.

Jonah has training in mediation through the Saltman Center for Conflict Resolution, where he completed a 40-hour program on negotiation and conflict theory. He also served as an instructor for a pro bono bankruptcy course and received the Outstanding Student Award for his work and service.

Jonah has received several honors for his academic and professional work. These include CALI Awards for Excellence in Insurance Law and Transactional Drafting, as well as recognition in Boyd Law Magazine. His published work also earned third place in a scholarly writing competition.

Jonah Gavish is admitted to practice in Nevada and is a member of the Clark County Bar Association. He brings strong academic training, practical experience, and business insight to his work, helping clients address legal needs with clear and effective solutions.
