John W. Lee

John W. Lee is a well-established attorney serving clients across the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. He has practiced law since 1998 and provides legal guidance in bankruptcy, family law, criminal defense, traffic matters, estate planning, and contract negotiations. Through his firm, The Law Offices of John W. Lee, P.C., he focuses on practical solutions that protect clients’ rights and help them move forward with confidence during difficult legal situations.

John earned his undergraduate degree from Liberty University, where he completed a B.A. in Government with a minor in Philosophy. He went on to earn his J.D. from Regent University School of Law in 1998. That same year, he passed the Virginia State Bar, allowing him to begin his legal career serving individuals and families throughout Virginia.

John began practicing bankruptcy law with a Norfolk-based firm, where he handled a wide range of consumer bankruptcy cases after law school. In 2000, he moved his practice to Hampton, Virginia, and in 2002, he founded The Law Offices of John W. Lee, P.C. As client needs expanded, so did the firm. Additional offices were opened in Virginia Beach, Newport News, and Chesapeake, enabling the firm to serve the entire Hampton Roads community better.

John is admitted to practice in all Virginia state courts, the Eastern District of Virginia Federal District Court, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. His professional memberships include the Hampton Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

John W. Lee has helped individuals regain financial stability through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, resolve family law matters, address criminal and traffic charges, and plan for the future through wills and estate planning throughout his career.
