Brett L. Wittner is an experienced business lawyer practicing bankruptcy, business, estate planning, and immigration law at Morton McGoldrick, PLLC. He has helped many individuals and businesses in Washington State with debt problems through Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Brett also assists clients with debt negotiation, loan modifications, and foreclosure mediation to find effective solutions for their financial challenges.
Brett earned his J.D. cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 1997. He completed his B.A. in Politics and Government at the University of Puget Sound in 1992.
Brett has extensive expertise, including helping businesses reorganize under Chapter 11 bankruptcy to manage debts while continuing operations. He has represented debtors in some of the largest Chapter 11 cases in Washington. In addition to representing debtors, Brett also supports creditors by filing claims and seeking relief from automatic stays. He has worked with Unsecured Creditors’ Committees to protect their interests in bankruptcy cases.
Brett handles fiancée visas (K-1), marriage-based and family-based permanent resident cards, as well as naturalization and citizenship matters in immigration law. He also assists clients with estate planning by preparing wills, trusts, health care directives, and powers of attorney.
