About
John Nojima is a partner at Lederer and Nojima, LLP, focusing on personal injury litigation in Los Angeles. He represents individuals harmed in serious accidents and wrongful death claims. With nearly two decades of experience, he is committed to helping injured clients recover fair compensation.
John earned his undergraduate degree from California State Dominguez Hills on a basketball scholarship. He later completed his MBA at Loyola Marymount University with a dual emphasis in Finance and Marketing. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University, focusing on litigation.
Before forming his own firm, John worked for five years at a large corporate insurance defense firm. This experience gave him direct insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims. He now uses that knowledge to advocate for injured clients.
John’s practice covers car, truck, motorcycle, and bus accidents, as well as pedestrian, bicycle, and construction accidents. He also handles premises liability, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other catastrophic injury cases requiring long-term medical care and financial recovery.
John prepares every case with detailed medical evidence and expert evaluations. While many cases resolve in mediation, he is prepared to take matters to trial when needed. He works closely with each client, ensuring they understand decisions and remain involved throughout the process.
Over the years, John Nojima has recovered and settled approximately $30 to $40 million in damages for clients. He remains dedicated to protecting the rights of injured individuals and helping them move forward physically, emotionally, and financially.
