David H. Pierce

David H. Pierce is the Founding Partner with a focus on civil litigation across Southern California. He represents individuals, businesses, contractors, and insureds in complex disputes involving construction defect claims, personal injury, premises liability, employment matters, and business litigation.

David earned his Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School in Sacramento. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His academic background, combined with practical industry experience, provides a strong foundation for handling technically detailed and financially complex cases.

David has tried cases to jury verdict in courthouses throughout Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Ventura, Van Nuys, Pasadena, Torrance/Redondo Beach, Riverside, and Santa Ana. His courtroom experience spans automobile accidents, municipal and construction site incidents, employment disputes, professional negligence, and contract-related claims.

Before becoming an attorney, David worked as a field claims representative for State Farm Fire and Casualty Insurance Company, handling structural property damage and casualty claims. He also worked in the construction trades, including framing, which gave him practical insight into construction defects and site-related disputes.

As counsel, David has represented clients in more than 1,000 litigated matters, taken and defended several hundred depositions, and mediated hundreds of disputes. His experience includes mechanic liens, real estate broker errors and omissions, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and hostile work environment claims.

David is rated AV Preeminent, the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards. He has been selected to Southern California Super Lawyers multiple times, reflecting recognition as one of the region’s top attorneys.

Admitted to practice since 1990, David H. Pierce appears before the Central and Eastern Federal Districts of California and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), California State Bar, and several leading professional associations.
