John Mesirow

John Mesirow is the founding attorney of Mesirow & Associates, PLLC, a well-regarded personal injury law firm serving Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Since 1993, he has built a client-centered practice focused on securing justice for victims of auto accidents, animal attacks, premises liability, and other serious injury claims.

John earned his Juris Doctor with honors from George Washington University School of Law in 1991, where he was a member of The George Washington Journal of International Law and Economics. He is admitted to practice in multiple jurisdictions, including D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Before starting his firm, John practiced commercial real estate law with a large regional firm. His decision to shift toward personal injury stemmed from a desire to work directly with individuals and make a tangible difference.
