Robert Minter has built a respected legal career spanning more than five decades. His practice covers a wide range of matters, including commercial law, bankruptcy, banking, real estate, business transactions, and estate or probate issues. Over the years, he has guided individuals, corporations, and financial institutions through complex situations with steady counsel and reliable representation.

Robert began his academic journey at Friends University, where he graduated in May 1965 with highest honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Math and minors in Political Science and Physics. He went on to study law at Denver University for his first year, later transferring to Washburn University School of Law, where he completed his J.D. degree in May 1968. His strong academic foundation gave him the analytical and practical tools that have guided his legal approach throughout his career.

Robert’s early professional years included working with established firms before he opened his own practice, which he has sustained for more than fifty years. In addition to his private practice, he has taken leadership roles by serving as secretary for several regional corporations and holding positions on the boards of three area banks. He also served as director and secretary of a company traded on NASDAQ, contributing his legal knowledge to corporate governance and compliance.

Robert has always dedicated time to teaching and mentoring within the legal community. He has instructed classes in his fields of concentration and frequently lectures for the National Business Institute on banking, corporate matters, and related litigation. His membership in the American Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, and Wichita Bar Association reflects his long-standing engagement with the profession. In 2013, he was awarded Life Membership in the Wichita Bar Association, recognizing his decades of committed service.
