About

John Howard Lynch is a seasoned real estate attorney with a long history of representing lenders, purchasers, and sellers in residential and commercial transactions. His work has included complex closings, land use issues, property disputes, and related litigation. He also guided clients through landlord–tenant matters and estate planning needs, building a practice centered on clear communication and reliable legal support throughout major property decisions.

Mr. Lynch earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and completed his B.A. in Economics at St. John’s University. He was admitted to the New York bar in 1984. His strong educational background in law and economics supports his ability to address the financial and legal aspects of real estate transactions with precision and practical insight.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Lynch co-founded Lynch & Bak, LLP in 2004, where he focused on real estate matters and supervised cases involving litigation, property conflicts, and estate planning. Earlier in his career, he established his own law practice representing banks, mortgage companies, and relocation firms in closings across Long Island. He also served as an associate at Cullen & Dykman, working in its real estate and banking department and managing the firm’s Hauppauge closing office.

Throughout his career, John Howard Lynch has handled a wide range of property matters, helping clients navigate transactions, resolve disputes, and protect their interests. His decades of experience in real estate law, coupled with his leadership roles in prior firms, allow him to provide steady, informed guidance. Clients value his detailed approach, strong knowledge of local property laws, and long-standing commitment to effective legal service in the Southampton area.
