John Fairfield

John Fairfield is a seasoned attorney with more than 40 years of legal experience, offering trusted guidance in estate planning, real estate, municipal law, and more. John earned his Juris Doctor in 1982 and began practicing law with Moore & Cady in Platte City, Missouri. His early work encompassed a broad range of legal areas, including probate, domestic relations, business law, and litigation—laying a solid foundation for his multifaceted legal career.

Throughout his career, John has served in numerous leadership roles. He was a partner at Collins, Fairfield, Fowler, & Harlan and also served as municipal judge for Platte Woods, Missouri, for eight years. In 2003, he was elected to the Kansas City, Missouri City Council, where he served as Vice Chair of the Planning, Zoning, and Economic Development Committee.

In 2007, John joined the Polsinelli law firm, concentrating on real estate development and public-private partnerships. His work with state and local governments included incentives, zoning, and regulatory compliance—critical components of economic development projects.

John Fairfield later returned to solo practice, where he continues to offer personalized, strategic legal services. His extensive experience and practical approach make him a valuable resource for clients seeking counsel on estate matters, real estate transactions, and municipal law issues.
