John F. Logan, II, is an experienced attorney whose practice centers on Estate Planning. Over many decades, he has guided individuals and families in preparing wills, trusts, and long-term plans that protect assets and provide clarity for future generations. His steady approach and strong community involvement reflect a career built on responsibility and public service.

John earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College in 1963. He later pursued his legal education at Willamette University College of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1966. During law school, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi. He was admitted to practice in Maine and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine in 1969.

John has remained active in civic leadership throughout his career. He served on the Board of Directors for Maine School Administrative District #22 from 1978 to 1987 and acted as Chairman from 1980 to 1987. He also served as Chairman of the Maine School Management Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund Committee from 1981 to the present and chaired the Winterport Water and Sewer Districts Board of Trustees from 1984 to 1999.

John has contributed extensively to the legal profession in Maine. He is a member of the Penobscot County Bar Association, serving as Vice President in 1990 and President in 1991. Within the Maine State Bar Association, he served on the Board of Governors from 1993 to 1998, held officer roles from 1999 to 2001, and served as its President in 2002. He also participates in the Continuing Legal Education Committee and the Real Estate and Title Section.
