John E. Laboe is a Shareholder with Laboe & Tasker, PLLC. John earned a B.A. in English and Speech Communications from Boston College in 1976 and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1979. His academic training built strong skills in writing, analysis, and advocacy that continue to guide his legal practice today across diverse, complex client matters and settings.

John is a member of the Corporation, Banking & Business; Real Property Law; Taxation; and Trust & Estate Sections of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He also belongs to the American Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). He serves clients statewide with dedication.

John has served as a co-chair of NH NAELA’s Legislative Affairs Committee since 2009, supporting policy efforts to protect elders. In 2010, he received the Outstanding Chapter Member Award from the NH Chapter of NAELA. In 2012, he was honored with the Ann N. Butenhof Award for distinguished service and dedication.

John served as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees for the New Hampshire Supreme Court Society until 2020. He is also a Member of the Christian Legal Society, National and NH Chapter, reflecting his commitment to professional service and faith-based legal community involvement throughout his career in New Hampshire.

John E. Laboe is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He provides steady counsel in complex legal matters with care and integrity for businesses, families, and individuals alike.
