Nicolas earned his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He received his B.A., cum laude, in Communication from Luther College. While in law school, he was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar as a student attorney representing low-income tenants in housing disputes. He also served as an associate editor for the Journal of Public Policy, strengthening his research and writing skills.
Before opening his current firm, Nicolas practiced at Keay & Costello P.C., concentrating on family law, civil litigation, and real estate transactions. He continues to draw on that experience to guide clients through contractual disputes, business litigation, and property matters. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the Federal Bar. He remains active in several bar associations and local committees, contributing to the legal community.
