John earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University before completing his Juris Doctor at Vanderbilt University Law School. While in law school, he served as writing editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and was named to the Dean’s List, reflecting his academic strength and attention to legal detail.
John began his legal practice as a transactional attorney with Ortale Kelley Herbert & Crawford and later continued his work at Bowen Riley Warnock & Jacobsen. He then launched a title company, where he combined his legal background with practical real estate knowledge. He is also a licensed real estate broker and a bonded Tennessee title insurance agent.
John is an approved Rule 31 Mediator and an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, contributing to its Commercial, Construction, and Employment panels. He served as Chair of the Nashville Bar Association Real Estate Law Committee and has been named a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation, a role given to attorneys who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the profession and community.
