John C. Gugliotta, Esq., is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in criminal defense, civil litigation, and appellate matters. He began his career working for a prominent criminal and civil rights lawyer in Beverly Hills, where he gained early exposure to complex, high-stakes cases. In 1995, he partnered with Richard G. Gugliotta to form Gugliotta and Associates, expanding the firm’s work across both New York and California.
Mr. Gugliotta earned his J.D. from Whittier College School of Law and completed his B.S. in Finance at Mercy College. He is admitted to practice in New York and California, as well as multiple U.S. District Courts, including the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Circuits, enabling him to handle appeals and federal matters with confidence and skill.
Throughout his career, Mr. Gugliotta has represented clients in criminal charges ranging from assault and drug offenses to fraud, theft, and felonies. He also handles estate planning, personal injury, administrative law, real estate matters, and business disputes. He focuses on building strong attorney-client relationships and guiding individuals through difficult legal situations with clarity and respect. His background includes serving as an arbitrator and working on assigned counsel panels, giving him valuable insight into courtroom procedures and dispute resolution.
