Joe earned a JD/MBA from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2000. His education provided a strong foundation in both legal and business principles, allowing him to offer practical and strategic guidance to clients. His academic training supports his ability to address a wide range of legal matters with clarity and professionalism.

Joe served in the United States Army for more than twenty years before retiring in 2020. His military career helped develop the leadership, discipline, and commitment that continue to guide his legal practice today. Through years of service, he gained valuable experience working in demanding environments and helping individuals navigate important decisions.

Joe focuses his practice on estate planning, probate, powers of attorney, real estate matters, and young adult planning. Before beginning his military career, he concentrated his legal practice on estate planning, developing significant knowledge in this area. He works closely with clients to help them protect assets, plan for the future, and address important legal concerns.

Joe Kobs is an active member of both the legal and local communities. He is a Lifetime Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a member of the Lansing and Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Leavenworth County Law Library.
