Her talent earned her a full athletic scholarship to Troy University, where she graduated in 2017 with a degree in sports marketing and a minor in leadership studies. She then pursued her Juris Doctor at UMKC School of Law, passing the Missouri Bar in 2020.

Ali gained vital experience early on by interning at the Missouri Public Defender’s Office, where she worked on violent crime and juvenile law cases.
