Jeremy Curran is the founder of Curran Law Firm in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He represents individuals facing criminal charges in North Dakota and Minnesota state courts and in federal court. His practice includes homicide, murder, manslaughter, negligent homicide, vehicular homicide, DUI, drug offenses, assault, domestic violence, sex offenses, theft, and juvenile matters. Jeremy helps clients understand the charges, protect their constitutional rights, and prepare for negotiations or trial.

Jeremy earned his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2014 after receiving a B.A. in Communications from the University of North Dakota in 2009. He is admitted to practice in North Dakota state and federal courts and in Minnesota. His education and courtroom experience support a clear, practical approach to explaining criminal procedure, evaluating evidence, and developing defense strategies for clients facing serious legal consequences.

Jeremy has handled criminal accusations ranging from marijuana possession and reckless driving to murder and sexual offenses carrying possible life sentences. Before founding Curran Law Firm, he practiced as an associate attorney with Chapman Law Firm and Sand Law. His work includes investigating allegations, reviewing police conduct, challenging searches and statements, negotiating favorable resolutions, and taking cases to trial when an agreement does not adequately protect the client’s rights and future.

Jeremy Curran is a member of the North Dakota Association for Justice, the North Dakota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the North Dakota Inns of Court. He is known for a client-centered approach that combines aggressive advocacy with respectful and compassionate communication.
