Jennifer Rossan

Jennifer Rossan is a highly experienced trial lawyer in the Litigation group at Sadis & Goldberg. She has successfully represented clients in large federal court trials, securing favorable verdicts in complex cases. Her practice focuses on financial services disputes, including SEC and FINRA enforcement actions, as well as employment law and commercial litigation. She has extensive experience handling wrongful termination cases, harassment, and employment contract disputes.

Ms. Rossan earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1993, where she was a member of the International Law Journal. She also holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, which she obtained in 1990.

Ms. Rossan began her career as an Assistant Attorney General in the Litigation Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s Office from 1996 to 1999. During this time, she defended the State of New York in significant class action lawsuits and employment discrimination cases in federal court.

Ms. Rossan went on to serve as Senior Counsel for the New York City Law Department and the Office of the Corporation Counsel, where she defended the City of New York and the NYPD in high-profile civil rights and police litigation. Her cases included police shootings, complex governmental policy disputes, and large-scale class actions. She successfully tried multiple federal cases to verdict, consistently securing strong results for her clients. Beyond her courtroom work, she supervised junior attorneys and delivered continuing legal education programs focused on trial strategy and advocacy.

Jennifer Rossan’s expertise in litigation, arbitration, and investigations has earned her industry-wide recognition. She was named a New York Metro Super Lawyer from 2014 to 2017 and was honored in Crain’s New York Business as one of the “Leading Women Lawyers in New York City” in 2018. She also received the “Women in Law Award” from Lawyer Monthly in 2014 and 2016. With her vast courtroom experience and commitment to legal excellence, Ms. Rossan remains a trusted advocate for her clients.
