Jennifer M. Moore

Jennifer M. Moore is a Birmingham litigation attorney whose practice includes business disputes, employment litigation, and wrongful death and catastrophic injury defense. She joined Ken Perry Law Firm in January 2026 after working as a senior litigation associate at a national law firm. Her professional background centers on trial advocacy and representing clients in contested matters. She draws on courtroom preparation and broader litigation experience in disputes involving businesses, employers, and serious injury claims.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 2014, studying Political Science and receiving honors in African American & Diaspora Studies. She received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Howard University School of Law in 2017. At Howard, she served as class vice president and captain of the Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy Team, receiving awards for oral advocacy and trial skills. This training helped develop her litigation foundation.

Jennifer represented juveniles in delinquency proceedings before the Superior Court of the District of Columbia through a student court program. She also taught constitutional law and oral advocacy to high school students through the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. Before her current role, she practiced at Maynard Nexsen PC. Her experience now supports civil defense and commercial litigation work involving significant factual issues, legal arguments, and trial preparation.

Jennifer M. Moore also participates in professional and community leadership activities in Birmingham. She took part in Upward Momentum Class 5, a career development program, and has volunteered with Girls, Incorporated of Central Alabama. She serves on the Governing Board of Impact America and is involved with the Rotaract Club of Birmingham and The Links, Incorporated. Her advocacy training and community service remain continuing parts of her professional work.
