Jennifer L. Hodge Burkett

Jennifer L. Hodge Burkett has more than 18 years of experience guiding clients through real estate and corporate matters. She regularly advises on acquisitions, leasing, construction, and development of commercial, industrial, agricultural, and retail properties. Her work extends to energy projects, including wind, solar, wireless, and pipeline site control.

Jennifer began her academic path at the University of Iowa, where she earned her B.S. in 1999. She went on to complete her J.D. in 2002 at the University of Iowa College of Law. Licensed to practice in Iowa since 2002 and Illinois since 2014, she is equipped to assist clients on complex property and business matters across state lines.

Jennifer supports developers in preparing and enforcing land use agreements, including covenants, restrictions, and easements for both residential and commercial projects. She also guides clients through title review, title insurance, and abstracts, offering practical solutions to secure project approvals and compliance. Her counsel includes serving as a local attorney and issuing local opinions for companies owning or operating property in Iowa.
