Jennifer Ann Sloan

Jennifer Sloan is an attorney with more than two decades of legal experience handling workers’ compensation, employment, and appellate matters. Throughout her career, she has represented employers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators in complex legal disputes while building a reputation for thorough preparation, strategic advocacy, and practical problem-solving. Her experience spans trial work, appellate litigation, settlement negotiations, and legal counseling, allowing her to address a wide range of challenges facing businesses and organizations.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of Tulsa. She later earned a JD from the University of Tulsa College of Law. Graduating with Highest Honors in the top 10% of her class, she also completed an International Law Certificate and received CALI Excellence Awards in Constitutional Law and Evidence.

Jennifer began developing practical legal experience while serving in the Boesche Legal Clinic at The University of Tulsa College of Law, where she worked directly with low-income clients. She also gained exposure to matters involving Oil & Gas, Environmental, Health, and Employment law during a legal internship. Early in private practice, she represented claimants before the Social Security Administration and successfully argued a notable case before the 10th Circuit federal appellate court involving a unique constitutional due process issue.

Jennifer Ann Sloan later built an extensive practice representing employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation and employment matters. She served as lead counsel in hundreds of trials, handling discovery, witness preparation, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and appellate proceedings in state and federal jurisdictions. In addition to litigation, she advised employers on reducing exposure to workers’ compensation and wrongful termination claims and regularly presented educational seminars on developments in workers’ compensation law.
