About
Jason N. Miller is a shareholder at CHDB Law and Managing Attorney of the firm’s Prescott office. Since 2006, he has served clients across Northern Arizona in business law, community association matters, nonprofit and church law, employment issues, landlord-tenant concerns, litigation, and transactional matters involving contracts and strategic organizational planning.
Jason earned his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law, where he received Dean’s Honors. He also completed a Bachelor of Arts at Bob Jones University. His legal credentials include admission to the Arizona Bar, admission to the U.S. District Court for Arizona, and an inactive Kansas license. His community association practice includes advising boards on governing documents, rule and covenant enforcement, common area tax concerns, legal opinions, contract revisions, and litigation strategy. He helps associations understand obligations, reduce uncertainty, and address disputes with careful analysis, practical guidance, and an emphasis on protecting long-term organizational interests.
Jason also counsels businesses, nonprofits, and religious organizations on formation, operation, contracts, governance, employment matters, landlord-tenant issues, and dissolution. By reviewing documents, drafting agreements, negotiating transactions, and explaining legal responsibilities, he helps decision-makers move forward with clearer structure, stronger protections, and more informed choices in daily operations and major transitions. His litigation experience supports clients facing business disputes, community association conflicts, church and 501(c) matters, employment claims, covenant enforcement actions, and restaurant, bar, and liquor-related issues. He handles disputes with careful preparation, practical strategy, and a focus on client goals.
Clients benefit from Jason Miller’s ability to combine transactional planning with dispute-focused judgment. Whether assisting a board, guiding a business owner, or advising an organization through governance questions, he works to make legal options understandable, protect client interests, and help people resolve problems before they become more costly or disruptive. Beyond direct representation, he contributes to the legal and business community by delivering educational seminars for board members and business owners across Northern Arizona. His professional involvement reflects a commitment to legal education, practical service, responsible leadership, and helping clients make confident decisions.
