Jennifer Altman

Jennifer Altman is a skilled trial attorney with extensive experience leading high-stakes litigation across the United States and internationally. She has served as first chair in over 30 trials, including federal and state court cases as well as major arbitration forums like the ICC, JAMS, and AAA. Jennifer is known for her sharp courtroom presence and strategic litigation approach.

Jennifer earned her B.A. in Finance from Florida State University in 1986, followed by her J.D. from the University of Miami in 1990. She is admitted to practice in Florida and the District of Columbia, and before multiple federal courts, including the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Eleventh Circuits.

Jennifer co-leads the Product Liability practice and has represented top-tier companies in cases involving chemical manufacturing, automotive issues, and heavy equipment. She is also active on the PFAS task force, addressing emerging legal risks. Jennifer regularly handles class action matters for both plaintiffs and defendants, applying her litigation experience across a wide range of sectors.

Jennifer also focuses part of her practice on complex health care litigation. She has represented leading health plans and select providers in high-stakes disputes involving both trial and appellate work. Her legal strategies often help clients evaluate and manage operational risks to reduce litigation exposure.

Jennifer’s notable representations include defending a chemical manufacturer in property damage claims, securing a defense verdict for an international property management company, and winning appeals in Helms-Burton litigation for a mining company. Her ability to handle multifaceted commercial litigation has earned her recognition and peer respect.
