Jeffrey S. Pagliuca is a respected shareholder at Haddon, Morgan and Foreman, P.C., with over four decades of courtroom experience. Known for his precision in dissecting complex legal matters and strategic foresight, he represents clients in white-collar and non-white-collar criminal defense, commercial litigation, and attorney disciplinary proceedings.
Jeffrey earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law in 1982, where he also served as Editor of the Denver Law Journal. Prior to that, he graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with an A.B. in 1979. His academic foundation has supported a distinguished legal career built on advocacy, ethics, and public service.
Jeffrey began his legal path at the Denver Trial Office of the Public Defender, where he represented thousands of individuals facing criminal charges. This formative experience instilled a lifelong commitment to justice and civil liberties, which continues in his private practice. His clientele includes individuals, professionals, and organizations navigating high-stakes legal challenges.
Recognized for excellence, Jeffrey has appeared annually in Best Lawyers in America since 2005. He received the distinction of Denver “Lawyer of the Year” in criminal defense—non-white collar (2011, 2018) and white collar (2020). His peers respect him as both a tenacious advocate and a leader in legal ethics and education.
Beyond litigation, Jeffrey contributes significantly to Colorado’s legal community. He has served as President of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar and the Faculty of Federal Advocates, among other leadership roles. He’s also a Trustee of the Colorado Legal Aid Foundation and a recipient of The Arc of Colorado’s award for service to individuals with developmental disabilities.
