Jeffrey Foote

Jeffrey Foote is the founding partner of Foote Immigration, where he provides clients with direct, consistent, and personalized legal representation. As the sole attorney at the firm, he ensures every case receives his full attention and that clients never experience the disruption of being passed between multiple attorneys or staff members.

Mr. Foote graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and then pursued his legal education at the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida. He earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude and was honored with the CALI Award for Professional Ethics. He is licensed to practice law in both New York and Florida and admitted to all U.S. Immigration Courts, allowing him to represent clients across a wide range of immigration matters.

Mr. Foote’s legal practice includes asylum, naturalization, family-based petitions, employment-based immigration, and federal litigation against immigration agencies. He has successfully obtained asylum at the Texas border, challenged U.S.C.I.S. in federal court to secure naturalization, and achieved numerous employment-based green cards and visas for clients. He has also appeared regularly at detention centers, advocating for the rights of detained individuals and working to secure their release and legal protections.

Before entering law, Mr. Foote had a distinguished career as a professional basketball player, competing in countries including Israel, Spain, Poland, Lithuania, Italy, Germany, and briefly in the NBA. His international experience exposed him to global visa and immigration processes, sparking his passion for immigration law.
