About
Jeffrey Foote is the founding partner of Foote Immigration, where he provides clients with direct, consistent, and personalized legal representation. As the sole attorney at the firm, he ensures every case receives his full attention and that clients never experience the disruption of being passed between multiple attorneys or staff members.
Mr. Foote graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and then pursued his legal education at the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida. He earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude and was honored with the CALI Award for Professional Ethics. He is licensed to practice law in both New York and Florida and admitted to all U.S. Immigration Courts, allowing him to represent clients across a wide range of immigration matters.
Mr. Foote’s immigration practice spans asylum, citizenship and naturalization, family-based green cards, employment-based visas and green cards, and federal litigation against immigration agencies. He has won asylum cases at the Texas border, successfully challenged USCIS in federal court to obtain U.S. citizenship for clients, and secured many employment-based green cards and work visas. He also regularly represents individuals in immigration detention centers, fighting for their release and protecting their legal rights.
Before entering law, Mr. Foote had a distinguished career as a professional basketball player, competing in countries including Israel, Spain, Poland, Lithuania, Italy, Germany, and briefly in the NBA. His international experience exposed him to global visa and immigration processes, sparking his passion for immigration law.
Today, through Foote Immigration, Jeffrey Foote brings that global perspective and a commitment to accessibility, ensuring clients receive responsive communication and effective solutions to their most complex immigration challenges.
