Jeffrey F. Riddle

Jeffrey F. Riddle is a partner at Riddle & Hanna, PLC, serving clients across the Peninsula for over fifteen years. His practice focuses on civil litigation, wills and trusts, business matters, contract enforcement, and real estate disputes, delivering practical guidance with steady problem-solving and clear communication.

Jeff earned a Juris Doctor from the College of William and Mary in 2009. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute, building technical and business foundations for legal work.

Before practicing law, Jeff served in the Army as an Air Defense Artillery officer at Fort Bliss, Texas. He worked at Newport News Shipbuilding in combat systems engineering, finance, and internal auditing, then built, managed, and sold several businesses, including one he successfully acquired by a Fortune 1000 company.

Jeff joined the legal profession in 2009 and began at a large Virginia Beach firm, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. He later practiced in a smaller firm and became a licensed Patent Attorney. His work includes two published opinions in the Virginia Court of Appeals and matters statewide in the courts.

Jeff is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia, including state and federal courts, the Fourth Circuit, bankruptcy court, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is active with the Virginia State Bar, the Newport News Bar Association, and local professional engineering organizations today.
