Jeffery D. Trevillion Jr.

Jeffery D. Trevillion Jr. is a director in Crowe & Dunlevy’s Oklahoma City office and a member of the Taxation Practice Group. An experienced trial lawyer and certified public accountant, he represents clients in civil and criminal tax controversies, litigation, health care law, and federal criminal defense. He also works with highly regulated industries and represents clients before federal and state law enforcement, taxation, and regulatory agencies.

Jeffery earned his B.B.A. in Accounting, cum laude, from Langston University. He later earned his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and his M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma. During law school, he received the A.L. Jeffrey Writing Award and was a Ford Scholar and Royce Savage Scholar. He is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and Texas and before the US Tax Court.

Jeffery represents clients in federal civil tax controversies involving audits, collection matters, penalties, and other sensitive disputes. He defends clients during IRS Criminal Investigation Division investigations and grand jury proceedings. His practice includes DOJ Tax Division civil suits, federal criminal prosecutions, and “eggshell” audits involving potential criminal referrals. He has represented businesses, executives, healthcare providers, tax professionals, and individual taxpayers in complex tax and regulatory matters.

Jeffery D. Trevillion Jr. has held leadership roles with several professional organizations, including serving as president of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation. His honors include the Oklahoma Bar Association President’s Award, Golden Gavel Award, and Oklahoma Society of CPAs Trailblazer Award. He has also been listed in Best Lawyers in America for Tax Law and participates in professional organizations focused on taxation, accounting, and criminal defense.
