About
Paige Goodwin is a Nashville associate whose practice focuses primarily on civil litigation defense. As a member of a tort and insurance practice group, she handles matters involving tort litigation, insurance defense, insurance coverage, and healthcare law. She represents clients facing disputes that require careful review of the facts, applicable law, and potential exposure. Her work centers on developing practical defense strategies and helping clients navigate litigation with a clear understanding of their legal position.
Paige earned her J.D. with a Health Law Certificate from Belmont University College of Law in 2021. She received the Bruin Scholarship for academic achievement and was regularly named to the Dean’s List. During law school, she served as a research assistant to Dean Deborah Farringer and as symposium editor for the Health Law Journal. One of her academic articles was also selected for publication. She earned her B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2017.
Paige developed practical legal experience through several clerkships while completing law school. She clerked in private practice in Nashville and with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee. These roles exposed her to litigation work in both private and government settings and strengthened her research, writing, and case analysis skills. Before attending law school, she worked as a marketing agent for a resort company and was recognized as its top sales representative during her first month.
Paige Goodwin is admitted to practice in Tennessee and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. She is involved with the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, Tennessee Bar Association, and Nashville Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. Her academic record, editorial experience, and early exposure to federal and private practice support a thoughtful approach to civil litigation defense. She brings careful preparation and practical judgment to tort, insurance, healthcare, and coverage matters.
