Jeff Demland

Jeff Demland serves as Of Counsel at Demland LU/DA Law Group, PC, with a practice focused on estate planning law, administration, and litigation. He helps clients address trusts and estates litigation, estate planning, probate and trust administration, conservatorships, guardianships, and real estate matters. His legal work is shaped by a strong background in research, problem-solving, and client service. Jeff brings a practical approach to complex issues, helping clients understand their options and make decisions that fit their legal needs and long-term goals.

Jeff earned his J.D., cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School. He also earned his M.S. in Drug Development from the University of Cincinnati James. L. Winkle College of Pharmacy. Earlier, he completed his B.M., cum laude, in Trombone Performance at the University of Cincinnati College–Conservatory of Music. This education gives him a broad foundation in legal analysis, scientific research, discipline, and communication. His studies support the clear thinking needed in estate disputes, planning, administration, and related client matters.

Jeff began his professional path in academic and pharmaceutical research, working closely with oncology patients involved in experimental treatments. That experience helped him understand the pressure families can face when serious decisions must be made. In law, he uses that background to approach each matter with resilience, creativity, and focus. He works to identify the core problem, explain the legal process in plain language, and guide clients toward solutions that protect their interests.

Jeff Demland is admitted in Oregon, Washington, and Ohio, and also before the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
