Jed earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Miami University, Ohio, in 1998, followed by a Juris Doctor from Tulane University in 2001. He has been a member of the Kentucky Bar Association since 2001 and is licensed to practice law in Kentucky. His educational path supports a well-rounded legal approach grounded in human behavior and business law.

Jed previously served as General Counsel for an international real estate company based in Ukraine, overseeing legal aspects of luxury hotel developments across Dubai and Eastern Europe. His role covered high-value projects including the Kempinski Hotel and Residences in Kiev and other developments in Crimea and the UAE.

Jed also worked as in-house legal counsel for Nakheel PJSC, the real estate division of Dubai World. He managed over $7 billion in deals, implementing corporate governance and closing joint ventures such as MGM/Dubai World and Dubai Islamic Bank. His responsibilities included drafting complex agreements and guiding transactions compliant with international standards.

Jed began his international legal work as a foreign associate at Herguner Bilgen Ozeke, Turkey’s largest law firm. He represented companies like Tesco Plc, AIG, Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co, and AES Corp. in acquisitions and market entries. His work supported major investment deals involving real estate, retail, and energy sectors.
