Jason W. Burge is a litigation lawyer and partner at Fishman Haygood L.L.P., representing investors, borrowers, institutions, and businesses in complex financial lawsuits and disputes. He handles securities fraud, lender liability, class actions, bankruptcy litigation, real estate disputes, tax matters, and appellate proceedings. His economics background helps him explain complicated financial transactions to judges, arbitrators, and juries. Jason earned a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University in 2000. He completed his J.D., magna cum laude, at New York University School of Law in 2006, where he joined the Order of the Coif. He then clerked for Judge Jerry E. Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit from 2006 to 2007.
