Jason P. Hopper

Jason P. Hopper is a partner at Hopper Hopper & Strebe LLP and a California Board Certified Family Law Specialist. He handles divorce, child custody, domestic violence, spousal support, and post-judgment modifications. His family law practice covers negotiations, temporary hearings, trials, and appeals. He serves clients across Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, and Amador Counties.

Jason earned a BA in Religion and Business from Wabash College in Indiana in 2003. He received his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan Cooley Law School in Michigan in 2007. He is admitted to the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Indiana, and the United States Supreme Court Bar. His family law certification requires a written exam, extensive experience, and continuing education.

Jason has represented hundreds of clients in domestic relations matters, guiding disputes from initial negotiations through trial and appeal. Before forming his firm, he spent over a decade as a regional managing attorney at the largest family law firm in North America. He built and managed legal teams across eight states, including California, Nevada, Arizona, and New York. His leadership work also covered New Mexico, Indiana, Kentucky, and Florida.

Jason received California State Bar Certification in 2025 and was named a Northern California Super Lawyer in 2023 and 2024. He earned Northern California Rising Star recognition from 2018 through 2022 and Indiana Rising Star recognition from 2011 through 2014. Cordell & Cordell named him Regional Top Attorney in 2011, 2012, and 2013, following its 2010 Rookie of the Year award.
