About
Jason C. Jowers is a director at Bayard and co-chair of the firm’s litigation group. He concentrates on corporate, alternative entity, and commercial litigation. He represents LLC members and managers, corporate officers and directors, and companies in high-stakes disputes before the Delaware Court of Chancery, Delaware Superior Court, Delaware Supreme Court, and U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. His work frequently involves governance, control, and complex business relationships.
Jason earned a B.A., cum laude, from Rhodes College and a J.D. from George Washington University School of Law. His academic background supports a practice grounded in corporate law, litigation strategy, and the rules governing Delaware entities. Jason leads litigation teams in disputes involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate and LLC control issues, judicial dissolution, and complex commercial arrangements. He also handles arbitrations governed by the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules, including procedures for large and complex commercial disputes. His professional service includes work with the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division Advisory Committee and leadership in the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section on alternative entity litigation issues.
Jason C. Jowers has been recognized by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, Delaware Today, and Benchmark Litigation for corporate and business litigation work. He serves on the Delaware Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission, handles pro bono federal matters through the Federal Civil Panel, and sits on the Food Bank of Delaware board.
