About
Jared Leung is the managing attorney of JCL Immigration Attorneys, PLLC and has more than 25 years of immigration law experience in large firms, midsize practices, and in-house settings. He advises employers ranging from Fortune 500 companies to family businesses on work visas, employment-based green cards, I-9 compliance, E-Verify, and ICE audits. He also represents individuals and families in investment and family-based immigration matters.
Leung earned a J.D. from Brigham Young University in 1996. His legal education established the foundation for a career focused on US immigration rules and the practical needs of employers, workers, investors, and families. His experience across law firms and an in-house environment has added a business perspective to legal analysis, helping him address immigration requirements in the context of hiring, workforce planning, corporate operations, and personal relocation goals.
Leung’s business immigration work includes temporary work visas and permanent residence strategies for employees, as well as compliance counseling for employers. He also advises investors pursuing E-1, E-2, and EB-5 options and assists with matters involving spouses, fiancées, parents, and siblings. From 2006 through 2008, he managed a consular practice in Hong Kong, adding direct experience with immigration matters processed through US consular posts abroad.
Jared Leung combines long-term immigration practice with experience serving companies, entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, and families. His work addresses the documentation, timing, eligibility, and compliance issues that can determine whether an immigration strategy succeeds. He helps clients select appropriate visa or permanent-residence paths, prepare filings, respond to government requirements, and manage immigration needs that arise alongside business growth, hiring decisions, investment plans, or family reunification.
