About
Mala Bajpai serves as Of Counsel at DiSanto & DiSanto, PLC and practices immigration law from the firm’s Scottsdale office. She assists employers, professionals, individuals, and families with employment-based and family-based immigration law matters. Her work includes H-1B visas, PERM, E-3 visas for Australians, TN visas, adjustment of status, naturalization, I-9 compliance, immigration interviews, and immigration court matters involving clients throughout the United States.
Mala graduated from Pepperdine University with a B.S. in International Business, a B.A. in Political Science, and a Juris Doctor. Her education included study abroad in London and Germany. She also completed internships connected to the United Nations, Senator Jon Kyl, and asylum work through the Human Rights Project. This background supports a practice that combines immigration procedure, employer needs, international perspectives, and individual client advocacy.
Mala previously practiced public-sector employment law with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore in Los Angeles. In that role, she defended and advised California police departments, school districts, and community colleges in litigation, administrative hearings, advisory matters, training, I-9 compliance, and visa sponsorship issues. Her current immigration work draws on that experience when advising organizations about employment-based processes while also handling family immigration and immigration court matters.
Mala Bajpai was admitted in California in 2003 and limits practice outside California to immigration law. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has held leadership or committee roles with AILA, the South Asian Bar Association of North America, and the South Asian Bar Association of Arizona. Her practice combines employer-focused immigration work with representation for individuals and families navigating visas, permanent residence, naturalization, and related proceedings.
