Maxim began his academic path at the University of Washington – Bothell campus, earning a B.A. (2002) | Marketing and Finance. He later completed an M.S. (2004) in Finance at Seattle University. His legal education concluded at Seattle University School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2013.

Maxim spent nearly eighteen years in banking before turning to law, including more than a decade as a Vice President in commercial banking. This experience shaped his understanding of business risk, financial structure, and negotiation, allowing him to approach legal disputes with a strong practical foundation across diverse industries and economic environments.
