J. Steven Anderson is a seasoned family law attorney who has been practicing since 1983. Founder of the J. Steven Anderson Law Firm in Memphis, Tennessee, he established his boutique firm to provide personalized, expert representation in divorce, premarital, post-divorce, and related family law matters. His practice emphasizes strategic planning and dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation, and litigation.
Mr. Anderson earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Lambuth College in 1980 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis in 1983. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and has served as a Special Judge in the General Sessions and Chancery Courts of Shelby County. His decades of legal service are rooted in deep knowledge and respect for the judicial system.
Mr. Anderson assists clients in all facets of family law, including premarital and post-marital agreements, property division, spousal support, child custody, and post-divorce modifications.
