Margaret A. Reid

Margaret A. Reid is a family law attorney at Butler, Sevier, Hinsley & Reid PLLC, where she focuses her practice on a full range of family law matters. Her legal work includes divorce, child custody and support, adoption, parental rights, juvenile court proceedings, prenuptial agreements, and post-divorce modifications.

Margaret earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi in 2004 and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001.

Margaret is a family law attorney licensed to practice in both Tennessee and Mississippi. She has been admitted to the Tennessee Bar since 2004 and the Mississippi Bar since 2006. Margaret is also authorized to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Reid has served as President of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Memphis and Shelby County, an organization dedicated to representing the interests of children in court proceedings.
