About

J. Paul Bradford focuses on estate planning, probate, real estate, and business law for clients across western Kentucky at Whitlow, Roberts, Houston & Straub, PLLC. He helps individuals, families, and business owners make clear legal plans that protect property, reduce risk, and support long-term goals. His work includes wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, living will directives, and advanced trust planning. He also guides clients through business agreements, property transactions, and planning matters with practical advice, steady communication, and careful professional attention to detail.

Paul earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, where he served as Chair of the Honor Council and Treasurer of the Student Bar Association. He also earned his B.B.A. from the University of Kentucky, Gatton College of Business and Economics. He is licensed in Kentucky and admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. His education and credentials support his focused work in planning, administration, business, and real estate legal matters.

Paul built strong experience before joining his current legal practice by leading a local trust department. That role gave him direct knowledge of trust administration, probate estate administration, and wealth management. He uses that background to help executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and families understand each step of the legal process safely. He also advises clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax planning, family farm succession, asset protection, special needs trusts, charitable trusts, and other planning tools designed for complex client needs.

J. Paul Bradford helps people by turning difficult legal issues into clear steps they can follow with confidence. In real estate matters, he assists with purchases, sales, exchanges, and related planning. In business law, he helps with formations, succession planning, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, employment contracts, nondisclosure agreements, and non-compete agreements. He also serves the legal profession through bar leadership and community-facing legal roles, reflecting a career centered on responsible service, sound judgment, and lasting client-focused legal results.
