About
Isaac J. Mass is a Greenfield criminal defense attorney whose practice focuses specifically on Criminal Law before Massachusetts District, Superior, and Appellate Courts. He represents clients in matters involving drug charges, OUI and motor vehicle offenses, larceny, firearms allegations, violent crimes, sex offenses, property crimes, and other criminal accusations. Isaac also practices before local, state, and federal administrative agencies when client matters require that forum.
Isaac earned an Associate of Arts from Greenfield Community College, a B.A. in American Studies from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst University Without Wall program, and a J.D., cum laude, from Western New England University School of Law. In law school, he served on Law Review, won the National Transactional Law Meet, and participated in a Real Estate Practicum and Criminal Law Clinic, building experience in research, advocacy, and applied legal work.
Isaac’s early legal experience included work as a student assistant district attorney in the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office, an appellate intern in the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, and an extern with Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Justice Francis X. Spina. He later served in family-law and clerkship roles before opening his own firm in 2011. That background gives him experience across prosecution, appellate review, judicial work, and private client representation.
Isaac J. Mass is admitted in Massachusetts and Vermont and before the US District Court for Massachusetts. He belongs to the Franklin County Bar Association and has received several professional, academic, and community recognitions, including a BusinessWest 40 Under 40 honor. Isaac’s criminal defense practice combines courtroom advocacy with direct client communication, strategic planning, and experience handling charges across a wide range of Massachusetts criminal statutes.
