Hoyt Glazer is an attorney at Glazer, Saad, and Anderson L.C. in Huntington, West Virginia. He focuses his legal practice on employment law, civil rights, wrongful termination, and personal injury. With over 30 years of experience, he has worked in both public service and private practice, representing clients in complex legal matters across state and federal courts.
Hoyt earned his B.A. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University in 1989. He received his J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 1993.
After law school, Hoyt began his legal career by clerking at the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. He then practiced with several firms in Charleston, West Virginia, where he gained experience in civil litigation and employment law. He later joined Legal Aid of West Virginia as a supervising attorney, where he provided legal help to people who could not afford private counsel. During his time there, he worked on cases involving workers’ rights, housing, and access to public services.
In 2015, Hoyt opened his solo practice focusing on employment disputes and civil rights cases. He now continues this work as a partner at Glazer, Saad, and Anderson L.C. He has represented individuals in wrongful termination, contract disputes, and civil rights violations, helping them seek justice and fair treatment under the law.
Hoyt Glazer is admitted to practice in West Virginia, several U.S. District Courts, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He also serves as a board member for Legal Aid of West Virginia and teaches as adjunct faculty at Marshall University College of Business. His dedication to employment law and civil rights continues to guide his work with clients every day.
