Henry A. Posada

Henry A. Posada is a highly respected immigration attorney certified as a Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization—an honor held by less than 8% of immigration lawyers in the state. He has also served as a Commissioner on the Immigration and Nationality Law Advisory Commission.

Mr. Posada earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1995 and was admitted to the California Bar the same year. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles, earned in 1992.

With over two decades of legal practice, Mr. Posada has guided hundreds of individuals and businesses through immigration matters, including family- and employment-based green cards, naturalization, and deportation defense. He frequently appears before immigration courts and federal appellate courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Posada provides particular expertise in cases involving immigrants with criminal histories. His work includes post-conviction relief, removal defense based on past convictions, and advising criminal defense attorneys on immigration implications for non-citizen clients.

Mr. Posada is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Immigration Section. He is admitted to practice before both the Central and Southern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
