Heath R. Oberloh

Heath R. Oberloh is a shareholder at Woods Fuller whose practice focuses primarily on estate planning and business succession for farmers and owners of closely held businesses. He also advises families using South Dakota trust and asset protection laws. His work includes developing and implementing plans based on family goals, as well as counseling trustees and other fiduciaries on trust administration, compliance, and the organization of South Dakota chartered trust companies.

Heath earned a BA in History from Dordt University and a J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law. His academic background supports a practice that combines legal analysis with long-term planning for families, agricultural clients, and privately owned businesses. The training is particularly useful in matters involving succession, trust structures, fiduciary responsibilities, and the coordination of personal and business objectives across generations.
