Jeana Goosmann

Jeana Goosmann is the CEO, Founder, and Managing Partner of Goosmann Law Firm and a practicing attorney serving executives, boards, companies, and family-owned businesses. Her work includes corporate and business law, litigation and trial law, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, restructuring, succession planning, and fractional general counsel matters. She advises clients facing high-value disputes, investigations, sensitive business challenges, and transactions across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Jeana earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law, where she received a full-tuition academic scholarship, served as a Law Review editor, and participated in advanced trial practice. She studied Business Management at the University of Nebraska with highest distinction. She later completed executive education through Dartmouth College; Tuck School of Business and Harvard School of Business; Leading Business Transitions.

Jeana represents clients ranging from Fortune 100 corporations to closely held and family-owned businesses. Her experience includes complex investigations, high-stakes litigation, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance matters, entity formation and maintenance, employment disputes, and restructuring. She also serves as an American Arbitration Association panel arbitrator and is regularly asked to support out-of-state counsel and businesses with matters involving Midwest jurisdictions and multi-state business operations.

Jeana Goosmann has received the Enterprising Women of the Year Award and recognition in Super Lawyers, and she has held leadership roles in national and state professional organizations. She is also an author and frequent speaker on business and legal topics.
