Harry L. Tindall, Of Counsel at Tindall England, P.C., has represented clients in family law matters for over 35 years and was among the first attorneys in Texas to become Board Certified in Family Law in 1975. Harry brings unmatched experience to every case, offering clients thoughtful, practical guidance on matters ranging from complex property disputes to interstate child support and parentage issues. He is known for embracing collaborative law, believing this client-centered approach helps families preserve financial resources and maintain positive relationships during significant life changes.
Harry earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1964 and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1966. He is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a certified Fellow, Arbitrator, and Mediator with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Throughout his distinguished career, Harry has played a significant role in shaping family law policy and practice. He has served as a Texas Commissioner for the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, Vice-Chair of the U.S. Commission on Interstate Child Support, and Chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. He also chairs the drafting committee for revisions to the Uniform Parentage Act.
Harry L. Tindall is a co-author of Sampson & Tindall’s Texas Family Code Annotated and frequently writes and speaks on family law topics for seminars and legal publications.
