Harris Nizel is the founder and principal attorney at Nizel Law, P.A., where he focuses on business counseling, employment law, and civil litigation. His practice is defined by a modern, technology-driven approach that enhances efficiency and client service. With extensive experience in both corporate and trial settings, Harris combines strategic insight with practical advocacy to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Harris earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in 2004, graduating summa cum laude and ranking in the top one percent of his class. He served as Lead Articles Editor of the Nova Law Review. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated in 1997. Harris is admitted to practice in all U.S. District Courts in Florida—the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts.
Before founding Nizel Law, P.A., Harris gained diverse legal experience in both private and public sectors. He began his career with Greenberg Traurig, representing clients in commercial transactions and real estate matters. Later, as a trial attorney with the Broward County Public Defender’s Office, he handled numerous jury and bench trials, honing his courtroom skills and litigation judgment. He subsequently practiced at a Palm Beach County litigation boutique, focusing on business, employment, and real estate law.
In addition to his legal experience, Harris is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), demonstrating his expertise in privacy and data governance. His prior work as a senior consultant and computer programmer for KPMG Consulting adds a valuable technological perspective to his practice.
