About
Hardeep S. Rekhi is a Washington-based employment attorney with more than 15 years of experience representing individuals in workplace-related legal matters. His legal work centers on protecting employee rights through litigation involving discrimination, wrongful termination, wage recovery, and harassment. Hardeep is widely respected for his commitment to fairness and justice in employment law.
Hardeep began his academic journey at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. He later earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Tulane Law School. This strong educational foundation helped shape his legal career and his dedication to upholding civil rights in the workplace.
Hardeep started his career defending employment claims for companies but quickly shifted his focus to advocating for employees. His experience on both sides of employment law allows him to approach each case with a deep understanding of legal strategies and employer tactics. He represents clients in state and federal cases involving unpaid wages, including overtime disputes and wage theft.
Hardeep has earned recognition throughout his career, including being named a “Super Lawyer” from 2013 to 2021. In 2012, he received the Carl Maxey Award for his efforts in civil rights advocacy. He also co-authored the Race Discrimination chapter of the Employment Law Desk Book and edited the Civil Rights Desk Book’s first edition, contributing to legal resources used across the field.
Hardeep extends his service beyond the courtroom through roles that support the legal community and public ethics. He has served on the board of the Washington Employment Lawyers Association since 2012 and has been a board member of the Washington State Association for Justice since 2016. He also serves as a commissioner on the Seattle Ethics and Election Commission and previously served as a Judge Pro Tem.
