Greg earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1999. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, which he completed in 1996. His technical training in mechanical and electromechanical engineering provides him with unique insight into the intricacies of patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in highly technical industries.
Throughout his career, Greg has gained substantial experience in all aspects of intellectual property practice. He has rendered patentability, infringement, and validity opinions, helping clients understand the strength of their intellectual property portfolios and make informed business decisions.
Greg has prepared and prosecuted numerous U.S. and international patent applications, including innovations in semiconductor fabrication, optoelectronics, power systems, and oil and gas recovery technologies. Additionally, he has managed extensive trademark registrations and enforcement strategies, ensuring that clients’ brands remain protected in competitive markets.
Greg H. Parker is also skilled in litigation, with significant second-chair experience in federal and state courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
