About
Gina Szeto-Wong is a principal attorney with more than a decade of experience litigating family law, civil rights, and employment cases in state and federal courts. She represents clients in matters involving sensitive personal, workplace, and constitutional concerns, bringing a broad civil litigation background to each case. Her practice serves individuals across California, including clients in Silicon Valley and Southern California, who need careful guidance through consequential disputes.
Gina earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and her B.S., with highest honors, from the University of California, Berkeley. Her academic training established a strong foundation in legal analysis, research, and advocacy. She also served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Kenneth J. Mansfield of the U.S. District Court, an experience that strengthened her understanding of judicial decision-making and federal court procedure.
Before becoming a principal attorney, Gina worked as a trial attorney at a civil litigation firm focused on civil rights, employment, and family law. Earlier, she served as a staff attorney at the Asian Law Caucus in San Francisco. She is admitted in California and Hawaii and before federal district courts in both states, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, supporting her work across multiple jurisdictions.
Gina Szeto-Wong brings a service-oriented perspective to clients facing disputes that may affect their families, livelihoods, and civil liberties. She is bilingual in English and Cantonese and volunteers with the Equal Justice Society, Asian Law Caucus, and Legal Aid at Work. Her cases have received coverage from local and national media outlets, including ABC News, NPR, and Hawaii News Now, reflecting the public importance of some matters she has handled.
